From its initial production in 1992, through to its ninth series in 2002, As Time Goes By has remained a fan favourite in the UK, the US and around the world.

The BBC is expected to unveil the new specials on BBC ONE during their highly anticipated Christmas season line-up. And in the US, PBS has announced they will be showcasing the two much in demands specials on 14 December.

As fans will surely want to add the latest specials to their home collections, the DVD release will be quick to follow in several territories. DLT Entertainment has already sold DVD rights to Acorn Video in the UK, PBS Video in North America and ABC Video in Australia and New Zealand.

The new specials, written by Bob Larbey and produced and directed by Sydney Lotterby, pick up some time after the ninth series left off and reveal Jean Pargetter’s (Dench) great anticipation for grandchildren much to husband Lionel’s (Palmer) dismay.
