Award-winning film-maker Rex Bloomstein, the man responsible for the Lifer series, is also the man behind this major, in-depth documentary about human rights and the people who violate this strict code in different parts of the world.

The Declaration of Human Rights was first passed in 1948 and the program looks at the developments since then -- for instance, the United Nations in Geneva and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

Filming took place all over the world, from Hungary to the Philippines, Russia to Ireland. This is an absorbing investigation from an acknowledged master of the documentary genre.
