London 5 Jun 07: Award-winning production and distribution company DLT Entertainment UK has sold the seventh series of the UK’s favourite sitcom, My Family, to BBC America.

The seventh series, which consists of 11 x 30’ episodes and returns stars Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker to their roles as Ben and Susan Harper, is currently on air on BBC ONE, attracting audiences in excess of 6 million, and easily winning its Friday night primetime slot with a 30% share once again making it the UK’s most popular comedy.

While BBC America has not yet announced its schedule for the seventh series, My Family fans can tune in to BBC America beginning Monday June 4 as the episodes from Series 1 through 6 will be stripped at 7:30PM Monday through Friday.

Don Taffner Jr, President of DLT Entertainment said, “The sale of My Family series seven is testament to the skills of the writing team, the cast and the crew who continue to provide first class comedy which can translate to audiences both in Europe and in the US. BBC America’s decision to strip the series weekdays at the all important 7.30pm time period is a great coup for DLT Entertainment, particularly in light of BBC America’s recent decision to remove a number of comedies from their schedule.”
