SEIZE THE NIGHT is a weekly half-hour music and variety show that introduces New York City's hottest music and fashion trends. While showcasing provocative new musical talent, SEIZE THE NIGHT embraces Manhattan's hip downtown scene.

Though the performers reflect New York's diverse population, the SEIZE THE NIGHT experience is primarily young, black, and urban. The show exudes an underground, live-house sound and feel. Participating musical acts compete for a cash prize and a chance to return for more spotlight attention and shameless self-promotion.

Hosts Voodoo Ray and Alexis Brown keep the show funky and real with their upbeat and vivacious style. While improvising with three Guest Hosts, Ray and Brown introduce the talent and offer their most candid opinions about each act. The fabulous DJ Jackie Christie, and other guest DJ's play upbeat dance music, keeping the audience jumping, while a colorful mix of hipsters and the ghetto-fabulous mingle with Chelsea boys and the occasional drag queen.
