The course of love doesn’t always run smooth for two romantic seniors in this ABC series starring Shirley Booth.

When the local grave digger meets a new widow visiting her late husband’s grave site, there develops a courting and romance.

However, in spite of their age, they have just as many emotional problems as a pair of teen-agers.

There is also the question of family disapproval in reverse, because Grace’s overbearing daughter thinks her mother is far too old to be thinking of boyfriends. Grace’s daughter and her henpecked husband turn out to be far more conventional than the supposedly staid old couple.
