Lisa Simon Joins DLT Entertainment as Directpr of Public television Sales

Entertainment is celebrating today as they close a number of sales with Latin America
and other territories, following a successful MIPCOM.
Lisa Simon has joined DLT Entertainment as Director of Public Television Sales.
She will be responsible for selling My Family, the UK’s Most Popular Comedy
and other Britcoms as well as drama, and documentary series and specials to Public
Television stations across the country. Simon will be based in DLT’s New York offices
and report to company president, Don Taffner, Jr.
Simon was most recently Associate Director, Program Administration & Station Relations
at Thirteen/WNET, New York, where since 1995 she was Programming Market Research
Director, managed the station relations process for over 80 series, mini-series
and specials. She also specialized in guiding producers in documentary, fiction,
and performance formats through the administration and delivery process.
“Lisa’s knowledge of the public television sector will be of great value to our
company,” said Taffner. “She has an outstanding record of successfully marketing
national programs to public television programming executives, consistently achieving
over 93% of US HH coverage for national presentations.”
Simon has an M.F.A. from Brandeis University and a B.F.A. cum laude from the University
of Texas at Austin.
