No Job For A Lady
A light-hearted peek behind the scenes of British politics, although the establishment make it clear that Parliament is no place for a lady, Jean Price (the esteemed Penelope Keith), a left-wing Member of Parliament, rises to the challenge in her own inimitable style.
Jean, a newly-elected opposition MP, arrives for her first week in the Commons, unsure of quite what to expect. It’s worse than she could have imagined. The facilities are terrible and the conditions of work are even worse. A few changes might bring more women into Parliament, if Jean gets her way. A lot of the "old guard" in government refuse to rock the boat of a system in which they’ve grown very comfortable over the years, but they cannot ignore their new colleague’s pot-stirring.
