Distributor announces new format, finished programme sales and acquisitions on first anniversary<

Cannes. 7 October 2013. Indie Distributor DLT/Raydar Rights LLP (DLT/Raydar) today announced a raft of new deals with international broadcasters, one year after the fledgling JV was launched.

Sweden’s public broadcaster SVT is set to make its own version of the innovative Emmy Award winning psychological thriller Reservoir Hill after licensing the format from DLT/Raydar. Local digital indie ART 89 will make 8 episodes for the national broadcaster. The series follows central character Beth who, on moving to a new town with her mother, is the victim of a series of unnerving events.

The groundbreaking drama series offers viewers the chance to shape the story of the show itself by texting advice to protagonist Beth and influencing the plot of the show. DLT/Raydar has international rights to both the finished programme and the format, which is also available as a finished telemovie or series of webisodes.

DLTRaydar also announced the sale of a further 52 episodes of Nick Junior preschool hit Olive the Ostrich to Viacom’s 200 International channels at MIPCOM Junior, in a deal brokered by Viacom International VP of Content and Acquisitions for Nicklodeon and Alison Rayson.
