LONDON 31st July 2019: Leading talent agency, Andrew Roach Talent, which specialises in the representation of diverse talent, has joined forces with award-winning production and distribution company DLT Entertainment.

Under the new deal DLT Entertainment will make significant investment in the agency and will work with Andrew Roach to expand his business opportunities by creating synergy between the agency’s roster of clients with opportunities across DLT’s business, to develop new and existing scripted and non-scripted projects. In addition, as part of the investment, Donald Taffner, Jr. will have a seat on the board of the agency to provide his professional experience and commercial knowledge. Andrew Roach Talent will operate from the DLT Entertainment offices in London, effective immediately.

Andrew Roach Talent, which was established in 2014 by agent Andrew Roach, represents actors, comedians, presenters and writers who work across film, TV, radio, live, corporate and publishing. The agency specialises in presenting opportunities in the broadcast and entertainment industries to a diverse range of talent, and its roster of clients includes Juliette Burton, Jo Coffey, Rob Deering, Laura Lexx, Jamie MacDonald, Georgie Morrell, Aatif Nawaz, Aaron Simmonds, Richard Stott, Sisters (Mark Jones & Christy White-Spunner) and Lee Ridley, also known as ‘Lost Voice Guy’, who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2018. Talent representation in the factual genre include Adam Pearson, the award-winning campaigner, actor and presenter, Will Pike and Samantha Renke who are both presenters and disability rights activists, and The Great British Bake-Off semi-finalist and presenter Briony May.

Andrew Roach said; “I am delighted to have joined forces with DLT Entertainment, and I look forward to working with Donald and the team to continue to drive and develop the careers of our talented and diverse range of clients.”

Donald Taffner Jr. commented; “We’re delighted to welcome Andrew and his fantastic roster of clients to the DLT family. Andrew has an incredible range of wonderfully talented and inspirational artists, who are pushing the boundaries and challenging the status quo of the ‘norm’ in the entertainment industry, which audiences can’t get enough of. We are very excited to work with the agency to develop new projects and explore the myriad of opportunities for them in the broadcast and entertainment industries.”

The new deal struck by the international prod-co further cements its presence in the UK comedy scene following recent deals with Christian Knowles’ Blue Book Artist Management, The Soho Agency and Milburn Browning Associates. The combined talent represent a breadth of work across television, radio and live touring, and stand-up comedy, theatre and publishing work, and the synergy created by these investments has the potential to create new opportunities for DLT, the agencies, and their clients, by providing a 360 approach to sourcing and developing new projects.

DLT continues its role as owner and manager of the Shaftsbury Theatre where Motown, The Musical just completed its successful three+ years run. The Illusionists, featuring the talents of seven of the most incredible Illusionists on earth will run for a strictly limited season this Summer, and it recently announced the launch of the new musical & Juliet with performances beginning at the Theatre in November 2019.
