Island Finish
Sailing Port Huron to Mackinac: For the past 80 years sailors from around the world have braved the unpredictable waters of Lake Huron to race to Mackinac Island. What started as a small challenge among a handful of boats has turned into an event that sees over one thousand sailors compete each year. These sailors have seen it all on the open waters of the lake-from mast splitting gales to glass-smooth conditions. Yet something keeps drawing them back year after year.
