THE HISTORY OF THE SS traces the origins of this troop of Hitler’s bodyguards from the rowdy Munich beer halls of the early 1920’s to the controversy surrounding the SS today. They trained to eliminate the enemy from within.
Footage includes interviews with lawyers, historians, former SS men, and those who had experienced the SS before, during, and after the war. This special explores the horrendous crimes committed by these black-uniformed men, and investigates what has brought the SS to such a state of infamy.
