London 3 February 2011. Quickfire quippery, outrageous observations and extreme excitement are guaranteed as 60 stand up, sketch and circus acts have just 60 seconds to blow the audience away and outdo the other 59 for the most memorable minute of this year’s Comedy Rush. It’s the tenth anniversary of the traditional variety show for the ADHD generation!

For 24th February boasts host Rufus Hound and the line up of rapid raconteurs will include Brendon Burns, Lucy Porter, Robin Ince, Howard Read, Terry Alderton, Simon Munnery, Pete Firman, Cardinal Burns, Mike Wozniak, Watson & Oliver, Carl Donnelly, Nick Helm, Andrew Maxwell and Pappy’s Fun’s Club.

24th March and an equally impressive assembly of breakneck buffoonery from the likes of Scott Capurro, Rob Rouse, Isy Suttie, Adam Bloom, Junior Simpson, Paul Foot, Phil Nichol, Rhys Thomas and Miss Behave.

More names will be announced in the coming weeks as top comics clamour to take part in this challenging tour de farce.

In the ten year’ since Comedy Rush was first staged at the Edinburgh Festival in 2001 the list of names that have taken on the challenge of getting maximum mirth in a minute reads like a role call of comedy greats - John Bishop, Dara O’Briain, Sarah Millican, Rhod Gilbert, Jimmy Carr, Nicholas Parsons, Alan Carr, Stewart Lee, Noel Fielding, Kevin Eldon and Russell Howard.
