DLT Entertainment Adds Richard Boden To Development Team

LONDON 1st November 2019: Award-winning production and distribution company, DLT Entertainment, continues to strengthen its foothold in scripted comedy with the appointment of Richard Boden as Head of Scripted Development.

BAFTA-winning producer Richard has been tasked with developing new scripted projects for the My Family and Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit firm. Richard will report to Darren Smith, DLT’s Creative Director.

His track record as a executive producer and director includes credits such as Motherland, IT Crowd, Upstart Crow, Count Arthur Strong and Blackadder Goes Forth. Prior to joining DLT he served as Director of Programmes for Graham Linehan’s Delightful Industries. His early career saw stints at Carlton and Central TV as Head of Comedy. As a freelancer he directed Time Gentlemen Please for Sky and The Sketch Show for ITV.

The hire follows Phil Tredinnick joining the company as Head of Entertainment Development and group’s recent investments in Blue Book Management (formerly CKP), Soho Agency, Andrew Roach Talent, and MMB Creative, as it seeks to create greater synergy between talent and the creation of original content.
