DLT has been a leading independent producer in the United States since the 1970s and in the UK since 1985.
DLT created the format business with productions such as Three's Company and Too Close For Comfort based upon the British shows Man About the House and Keep It In the Family to name two.
DLT has had equal success in The UK producing As Time Goes By and My Family, two of the most successful comedies ever run on BBC One.
In 2018, DLT expanded its production base in The United Kingdom with the acquisition of Vera Productions Limited, the first such aquisition byt DLT. Vera is run as a wholey owned subsidiary of DLT Entertainment UK Limited. To learn more about Vera Productions click here.

DLT Steps In To Fund Edinburgh Comedy Awards
When the sponsors for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards did not renew causing this year's awards to be in doubt, DLT Entertainment stepped in to fund and unsure another year of this prestigious award.
DLT anticipates that this will be the first of a multi year commitment to ensure the awards continue for years to come.

DLT Companies Had over 45 Shows At This Years Edinburgh Fringe
Blue Book Artist Management, Gag Reflex Productions, The Soho Agency and Impatient Production's combined either represent and produce over 45 shows at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

CBBC's Monster Court Available On iPlayer
is aimed at 6 – 12-year-olds and is centred around a monster puppet, the Rt Hon Judge Martin Smudge, who dishes out justice for children who send in their light hearted problems, such as embarrassing parents, boring teachers, bedtimes or being made to do things like eat vegetables or wear shoes. Children apply with their crimes and Judge Smudge delivers justice in the form of a monstrous punishment.
DLT Invests In Gag Reflex, Creates Regional Indie
DLT continues its expansion into talent management and live comedy with a significant investment in Manchester based Gag Reflex Limited. As part of the investment, DLT and Gag Reflex will form new regional indie Gag Reflex Productions to be based out of Gag Reflex's offices in Manchester.
DLT Entertainment Invests In Impatient Productions
DLT entertainment has joined forces with Impatient Productions, the independent creative production company set up by comedian Mark Watson and ex BBC producer Lianne Coop with a significant investment.
Katya Balfour-Lynn Joins DLT as Development Producer
Former United Agents live comedy producer has worked with talent including Tom Rosenthal, Nick Mohammed, Richard Gadd, Lloyd Griffith. Nick Helm, Katherine Ryan, Ben Bailey Smith, DENIM, Kieran Hodgson, Spencer Jones, Liam Williams, Cardinal Burns, Tim Renkow, Natasia Demetriou & Ellie White, Maddie Rice, Lucy McCormick, Angelos Epithemiou and many more.
Katya joins the DLT team tasked with developing both scripted and unscripted comedy and entertainment projects.
Darren Smith Appointed DLT's Creative Director
Phil Tredinnick joins as Head of Entertainment Development
They have been tasked with developing new entertainment and comedy formats for domestic and international audiences. Smith will report directly to Donald Taffner Jr., President of DLT Entertainment, with Tredinnick and the current DLT team reporting into Smith.

Award winning comedian and well-known gaming and technology fan Dara O Briain (Mock the week, Robot Wars) hosts celebrating the world of video games. Part comedy panel show, part physical game show and wholly competitive, each week Dara is joined by guest stars who battle it out – very vocally and passionately!
